Dara In Manila [Fancam]
I've searched for some Dara videos because she's here in the Philippines and honestly there are lots of them. But what stood out [for me] is the fancam from CASSPH. Yeah they are 2NE1 fans too and they're proud of it. I translated some of the conversations so here you go:Sorry I can't hear the conversation very well but I did understand one question for Dara.
MYX: So what do you think are the differences of Filipino fans and Korean fans?
Dara: I think they're the same but Korean fans are more sensitive to loveteams unlike here.
2nd part of the interview:
Myx: So far what activities have you done since you came back from Korea?
Dara: A while ago, I arrived at around 12noon and I went to the restaurant to eat sinigang. Then I went to the studio for the taping of Ruffa and Ai then went on a tour at Star Magic and Talent Center and then I went here right away.
Myx: When will they broadcast your episode on Ruffa and Ai so they can watch it?
Dara: ~oh~ I didn't ask...[laughter] I'll just ask later.
Myx: I guess they just have to see for themselves maybe tomorrow or on Monday. Cheska wants to know what's your motto?
Dara: My motto in life? I can live by. I can do this, that's what I always think.
Myx: Pls. sing a few lines from your song I Don't Care
Dara: My part or...? [sings her part][applauds] This is embarassing. I didn't get to sleep last night that's why my voice isn't happy.
Myx: Are you going to have a meet and greet with your fans?
Dara: I'd like to if there's time. But i really don't know when it'll be possible.
Myx: Aside from Ruffa and Ai are there any other shows where you'll be guesting like Wowowee and Entertainment Live?
Dara: Yah I'll be guesting on E! Live.So I'll see you there.
Myx: So when will you release your full length album?
Dara: Our plan is on October. So I hope by October it will be released.
Myx: What is your album's title?
Dara: We don't know yet, it's not yet processed.
Myx: When your in Korea, what do you usually do on your free time?
Dara: Free time? We don't have free time. We're always on the dance studio for hours if you watch 2ne1tv we're on the studio or at the house chatting, eating and some of us sleep.
Myx: How do you take care of your skin 'cause you have beautiful skin
Dara: I feel shy 'cause my skin is not that beautiful. I don't do anything, sometimes I put something and gets some massage.
Myx: Do you get to watch Philippine shows when you're in Korea?
Dara: No, but sometimes I watch dvd's of my movies and I find them funny.[laughter]
Myx:Tell us your experience in making the video for Lollipop
Dara: That was our first project and we we're with BigBang that's why we we're really nervous. We didn't sleep for 1 week rehearsing for the dance and we we're all tired.
Myx: Did you miss some of your loveteams?
Dara: [laughs] Sometimes...when I watch my movies I miss the old memories. [crowd tease]
Myx: Are you going to guest on Asap 09 on sunday?
Dara: No, too bad 'cause I have to go back on sunday. Maybe next time I'll be there with the girls.
Myx: Are you really going to have a cameo appearance on Style?
Dara: Yes, we taped it two days ago. I think they'll broadcast it this sunday.
Myx: What gifts would you like to receive on your birthday?
Dara: Sinigang?[laughter] Dried mangoes from Cebu.
Myx: If you would be given a chance to make a movie or drama in Korea who would you want to be paired with and what theme?
Dara: I want a lovestory with comedy, I think that would suit me well.
Myx: A fan of Bom wants to know if Bom is kind
Dara: Yes she is, and she's hilarious too. Her voice is so cute she's like a baby but when she sings 'Wow she's so good'
Myx:Tell us more about the other girls do kid around when you're with them?
Dara: we have a huge age difference but when we're together we are real friends. Sometimes I feel like Minzy and CL are my older sisters and I'm the youngest. We are funny and very loud when talking.
Myx: Who writes the song for 2NE1?
Dara: Kuya Teddy of 1TYM [kuya means older brother] he composes our songs and Kush and GD of BigBang.
Myx: Who do you like in Boys Over Flowers
Dara: Base on the character I like Gu Jun Pyo. Because he acts like he doesn't like her[Jandi] although deep inside he really likes her.
Dara: [singing Take A Bow] My version is like a kids version.[laughter]
Myx: Who decides on what part a member gets to sing?
Dara: The four of us talk about it and decide who gets to sing the part.
Myx:How about the dance? Who choreographs your dance? And how do you arrange the blockings?
Dara: We have a dance instructor but lately Mr. YG himself arranges the blockings, he's with us every sunday.
Myx: So for sure when your album is released on October you'll be having shows all over Korea. Will you have an Asian tour as well? And are you going here in Manila for the Asian Tour?
Dara: Hmm I really don't know. But if there's a chance I'd love to perform here.
Myx: What Tagalog words have you taught the other girls?
Dara: I first taught them the word "Mabuhay" that's why they're always shouting mabuhay [Mabuhay means long live] and I taught them "Mahal Ko Kayo", but CL said "What? Mahal Kiki? And I said "No, Mahal ko kayo, Mahal kita like that. [Mahal ko kayo = I love you all; Mahal kita= I love you]. I also taught them to say "Ako si Bom, Ako si CL, Ako si Minzy." [ I am Bom, I am CL, I am Minzy]
Myx:Message to your Filipino fans
Dara: Thank you so much. I'm really touched. I didn't know our song was a big hit here. Please anticipate as well for the other songs. Thank you so much. I'll be back here.
Myx: If you get a chance to bring 2NE1 here in the Philipines where's the first place you'll take them?
Dara:We want to go to Boracay. We even agreed about it but we don't know when and how long we'll stay there.
Myx: What's your favorite song
Dara: Of course it would be our song I Don't Care.
Myx: Sandy because a lot of your fans misses you so much, we have some of your fans here and they brought presents for you!
Dara: ~Oh~

Dara: Wow thank you!

Dara: haha... Thank you. Oh this one's our favorite.[Dried mangoes I think]

Dara: [receives a wallet] Wow! Thank you!
Fan: there's a letter, the blue one.
Dara: [reads the letter] Whoa Thank you!
Myx: Sandy Before we wrap up. We'd like to know where you bought your shoes
Dara: Our stylist bought it, I think in Japan
Myx: And lastly your message to the Myx viewers
Dara: How are y'all doing Myx viewers. I'm really happy that I'm here today, Its like a dream because just last night I was in Korea and now I'm here in the Philippines.I'm really happy that we got a chance to talk. I hope this isn't going to be the last.
