I Don't Care Unplugged and 2NE1 on Kim Jung Eun's Chocolate
They performed it live, they remixed it and now the fierce group 2NE1 did the unplugged version of I Don't Care. Once again the girls showed a different side of them, creating a relaxing mood as they serenaded the crowd with their chart topper song I Don't Care in SBS Inkigayo. Check them here:Last August 29 the episode where 2NE1 was featured in Kim Jung Eun's Chocolate was aired. 2NE1 performed their hit songs Fire and I Don't Care and they even did solo performances. CL rapped to the song Doo Wop, Dara singed and danced with J-lo's Get right, Bom made the crowd drool with her version of Crazy In Love, and maknae Minzy wowed the crowd with her Sexy Back dance. Lee Min Ho and Sandara Park Together on a CF
Just recently rumors started spreading about Min Ho and Dara doing a CF together. They were both spotted filming in Gangnam, Seoul. And today the rumors have been confirmed. Yes my dear readers Dara and MinHo will be together on a CF for OB Beer's Cass 2X.
One of the biggest stars in Korea nowadays Lee Min Ho and Sandara Park of 2NE1 will have a theme based on the way how young couples love.
OB Beer's Marketing Manager stated:
"We chose top stars Lee Minho and Sandara Park as their trendy image matches perfectly with the image of our Cass beer. We're staying in touch with the younger generation and this CF will start a new trend."
And some trivia: On one of the episode of 2NE1TV Minzy, CL and Bom were teasing Dara about Min Ho. They said that Dara is crushing on Lee Min Ho.

Kleb Spotlight: Jae Hee
Following the steps taken by Daniel Henney, Lee Byung Hun, and Gianna Jun, Jae Hee is the next Korean actor to be seen in Hollywood.
If you're not very familiar with him, well you might at least remember him from these Korean dramas he did. He was seen in the dramas Delightful Girl ChoonHyang, Witch Yoo Hee, and 3 Dads and a Mom. As of now Jae Hee is in the military service and soon he will be in the Hollywood film Tekken where he'll play the role of a 19-year old taekwondo master Hwoarang.
This is great news for Jae Hee fans (like me). We haven't seen him for so long and now his comeback is not only on the big screen its Hollywood! Be sure to check it out because I know I will.

4Minute's 1st Mini Album
4Minute JiYoon takes off her sunglasses. This was for 4Minute upcoming 1st minialbum ‘For Muzik’ set to be released on 20th August on and offline. The album is set to be an album showing off the girls’ strong passion for music.
While news of the album release has been a hot topic amongst netizens, the photo for the album which reveals member JiYoon without of her sunglasses is also another hot topic amongst netizens. All this while, JiYoon has been promoting and appearing on broadcast programmes with her sunglasses, and with the promotional photo released for the album she was shown without her sunglasses.
The album is set to be released on 20th August.

B2Y Brings Disco Craze in the Kpop Scene
4-member group B2Y (Babyboys To Yearningirls) is set to debut in the Kpop zone.
With members born in 1988 – JinWoong, Rika, Naraand eldest HanYeon (26) will bringing the disco craze to the teenagers. Normally for a group 1 to 2 of the members will be the main vocal while the others will be the rapper and doing the dancing, but for B2Y there will be 3 main vocals and 1 rapper.
They will be bringing up the retro craze with songs of the same feelings as ABBA’s ‘Mama Mia’ and Grease’s ‘Saturday Night Fever’. Even though this is the genre which people in the 30s and 40s will be familiar be, this group will be targeting at the teenager listeners.
All 4 members are known to be mulitainer who are vocally strong, ability to play musical instruments and also winners at ‘UlJjang competition’.
Rika, who took part in the musical ‘Rent’ this year, is also known to be the merry-maker of the group. While JinWoong who is currently in a theatre group in university and was the lead vocal to a downtown rock band.
Nara who graduated from national arts high school, won a daesang at the national traditional music competition performing the gayageum. HanYeon, who is the leader of the group, debuted as a uljjang model and is versed in drums percussion performance.
This group is a group groomed by Lee JungMoo who did music for Kim JongKook and Jo SungMo etc for a few years.

Take A Peek at F4's Photobook
Just when you thought you won't be hearing about it, at least not so soon. It was revealed yesterday that a Boys Over Flowers photo book will soon be released in Korea and Japan, to further cash in on the popularity of the drama which caught Korea by storm earlier in the year.
The photo book which is titled Story of Four Flowers (SOFF), captures the F4 members of Lee Min Ho, Kim Hyun Joong, Kim Bum and Kim Joon at their charming best, with pre-orders beginning on 17th August. Even though the publisher are only taking in pre-orders at the moment for the 168 pages photo book, the response have been very encouraging. It was revealed that fans who buy the photo book will be able to see the F4 members, together with the natural beautiful scenery of Korea as the backdrop, showcasing a different charisma from their drama characters. There will also be a DVD included which contains private movie clips.

Dara In Manila [Fancam]
I've searched for some Dara videos because she's here in the Philippines and honestly there are lots of them. But what stood out [for me] is the fancam from CASSPH. Yeah they are 2NE1 fans too and they're proud of it. I translated some of the conversations so here you go:Sorry I can't hear the conversation very well but I did understand one question for Dara.
MYX: So what do you think are the differences of Filipino fans and Korean fans?
Dara: I think they're the same but Korean fans are more sensitive to loveteams unlike here.
2nd part of the interview:
Myx: So far what activities have you done since you came back from Korea?
Dara: A while ago, I arrived at around 12noon and I went to the restaurant to eat sinigang. Then I went to the studio for the taping of Ruffa and Ai then went on a tour at Star Magic and Talent Center and then I went here right away.
Myx: When will they broadcast your episode on Ruffa and Ai so they can watch it?
Dara: ~oh~ I didn't ask...[laughter] I'll just ask later.
Myx: I guess they just have to see for themselves maybe tomorrow or on Monday. Cheska wants to know what's your motto?
Dara: My motto in life? I can live by. I can do this, that's what I always think.
Myx: Pls. sing a few lines from your song I Don't Care
Dara: My part or...? [sings her part][applauds] This is embarassing. I didn't get to sleep last night that's why my voice isn't happy.
Myx: Are you going to have a meet and greet with your fans?
Dara: I'd like to if there's time. But i really don't know when it'll be possible.
Myx: Aside from Ruffa and Ai are there any other shows where you'll be guesting like Wowowee and Entertainment Live?
Dara: Yah I'll be guesting on E! Live.So I'll see you there.
Myx: So when will you release your full length album?
Dara: Our plan is on October. So I hope by October it will be released.
Myx: What is your album's title?
Dara: We don't know yet, it's not yet processed.
Myx: When your in Korea, what do you usually do on your free time?
Dara: Free time? We don't have free time. We're always on the dance studio for hours if you watch 2ne1tv we're on the studio or at the house chatting, eating and some of us sleep.
Myx: How do you take care of your skin 'cause you have beautiful skin
Dara: I feel shy 'cause my skin is not that beautiful. I don't do anything, sometimes I put something and gets some massage.
Myx: Do you get to watch Philippine shows when you're in Korea?
Dara: No, but sometimes I watch dvd's of my movies and I find them funny.[laughter]
Myx:Tell us your experience in making the video for Lollipop
Dara: That was our first project and we we're with BigBang that's why we we're really nervous. We didn't sleep for 1 week rehearsing for the dance and we we're all tired.
Myx: Did you miss some of your loveteams?
Dara: [laughs] Sometimes...when I watch my movies I miss the old memories. [crowd tease]
Myx: Are you going to guest on Asap 09 on sunday?
Dara: No, too bad 'cause I have to go back on sunday. Maybe next time I'll be there with the girls.
Myx: Are you really going to have a cameo appearance on Style?
Dara: Yes, we taped it two days ago. I think they'll broadcast it this sunday.
Myx: What gifts would you like to receive on your birthday?
Dara: Sinigang?[laughter] Dried mangoes from Cebu.
Myx: If you would be given a chance to make a movie or drama in Korea who would you want to be paired with and what theme?
Dara: I want a lovestory with comedy, I think that would suit me well.
Myx: A fan of Bom wants to know if Bom is kind
Dara: Yes she is, and she's hilarious too. Her voice is so cute she's like a baby but when she sings 'Wow she's so good'
Myx:Tell us more about the other girls do kid around when you're with them?
Dara: we have a huge age difference but when we're together we are real friends. Sometimes I feel like Minzy and CL are my older sisters and I'm the youngest. We are funny and very loud when talking.
Myx: Who writes the song for 2NE1?
Dara: Kuya Teddy of 1TYM [kuya means older brother] he composes our songs and Kush and GD of BigBang.
Myx: Who do you like in Boys Over Flowers
Dara: Base on the character I like Gu Jun Pyo. Because he acts like he doesn't like her[Jandi] although deep inside he really likes her.
Dara: [singing Take A Bow] My version is like a kids version.[laughter]
Myx: Who decides on what part a member gets to sing?
Dara: The four of us talk about it and decide who gets to sing the part.
Myx:How about the dance? Who choreographs your dance? And how do you arrange the blockings?
Dara: We have a dance instructor but lately Mr. YG himself arranges the blockings, he's with us every sunday.
Myx: So for sure when your album is released on October you'll be having shows all over Korea. Will you have an Asian tour as well? And are you going here in Manila for the Asian Tour?
Dara: Hmm I really don't know. But if there's a chance I'd love to perform here.
Myx: What Tagalog words have you taught the other girls?
Dara: I first taught them the word "Mabuhay" that's why they're always shouting mabuhay [Mabuhay means long live] and I taught them "Mahal Ko Kayo", but CL said "What? Mahal Kiki? And I said "No, Mahal ko kayo, Mahal kita like that. [Mahal ko kayo = I love you all; Mahal kita= I love you]. I also taught them to say "Ako si Bom, Ako si CL, Ako si Minzy." [ I am Bom, I am CL, I am Minzy]
Myx:Message to your Filipino fans
Dara: Thank you so much. I'm really touched. I didn't know our song was a big hit here. Please anticipate as well for the other songs. Thank you so much. I'll be back here.
Myx: If you get a chance to bring 2NE1 here in the Philipines where's the first place you'll take them?
Dara:We want to go to Boracay. We even agreed about it but we don't know when and how long we'll stay there.
Myx: What's your favorite song
Dara: Of course it would be our song I Don't Care.

Updates on Daesung's Condition
After getting in a car accident on 11th August, it has been revealed that Big Bang DaeSung’s injuries are more serious as they were made out to be.
A representative said on 13th August, “The CT scan results came out on 12th August, the bone that encompasses the left eye is also fractured. This part will have to be treated when DaeSung undergoes surgery for his nose injuries.”
With that, the rep said, “With the diagnosis results out, we will have to extend the treatment period from 6 weeks to 8 weeks.” Before the precise diagnosis, DaeSung has already have 15 stitches for the injuries on his arm.
Aww, Let's all pray for him to get well soon.

The concept photos to Big Bang GDragon’s first solo album ‘Heartbreaker’ has been revealed.
All this time, he has been spotted with different hairstyle – apply hair, mohican, bangs etc, and this time he is back with blonde hair.
YG Entertainment said, “GDragon, who has entered YG at the age of 13, has been producing and being a member of Big Bang all this time, and this is his first solo album in more than 10 years. There will be 10 songs in his solo album this time. And he will show music that is with GDragon’s colours and styles.”

Line Up for 2009 Asia's Song Festival
It has been known that Big Bang and 2NE1 will be participating in 2009 Song Festival.
Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange has revealed the 2nd line-up to the 6th Asia Song Festival on 11st August.
And for the 2nd line-up, it has been known that groups Big Bang and 2NE1 will be participating in the event. Other than that, Japanese popular group V6 and Hong Kong singer-actor Eken Zheng YiJian will also be participating in the event.
It was known that groups Super Junior and So Nyeo Shi Dae will be participating for the event when the 1st line-up was revealed earlier. And now 2 more Korean singer groups Big Bang and 2NE1 joins the list, representing Korea for the song festival.
2009 Asia Song Festival will be held on 19th September in Seoul WorldCup Stadium.

Kim Joon is Ambassador of Incheon City
Kim Joon was now known as the icon of Incheon City. To go along with this, Songdo Park Hotel in Incheon city has design one of their hotel room and named it as ‘Kim Joon’s Room’.Recently Kim Joon was appointed as the ambassador for Incheon City by the Incheon Tourism Organization. At the same time he was also selected as the main actor of film ‘The Korean Wave Star who introduce Incheon to you’.
Being acting in ‘Boys Before Flowers’ has made Kim Joon as one of the Korean Wave Star. Incheon Tourism Organizations mentioned they hope to influence and promote Incheon to Asia by Kim Joon’s popularity.
In order to promote carried out an active campaign to promote Incheon, Incheon Tourism Organization has also make this special arrangements to prepare a special ‘Kim Joon’s Room’ in the Songdo Park Hotel during their official opening on the 5th August.
There are lot of places in Incheon were being filmed in the promotion video ‘Kim Joon - Happy Present Meet Incheon’. Places like Soreapogu Seafood market, Chinatown, Jayu (Freedom) Park, Hongyemun and Shinpo market.
Kim Joon’s company said: “Kim Joon would not only remain in the name of the ambassador, but he would make every effort to let the whole of Asia to understand Incheon better. We also have plans to publicize Incheon tourism during the promotion campaign that was held on the 13th August in Shizuoka, Japan.”

SES Supports Bada
S.E.S members Bada, Eugene and Shoo has come together again.
Bada posted up new photos on her minihompy on 10th August of her taken together with Shoo and Eugene. The 2 of them had showed up at MBC Music Core to show support for Bada’s comeabck stage.
The photos show the 3 of them still very close together after their debut as group S.E.S more than 10 years ago. Bada also thanked Eugene who performed on stage together with her, “Eugene ah, thank you so much for the cool performance. Your stage manners are ‘jjang(best)’. I should learn from you too.”
And also to Shoo who showed at the dressing room back stage to Music Core, “Even though you were down with flu, you came and I was very touched. Unnie has prepared flu medicine, panacea and tiger palm at home.”
Meanwhile, Bada recently released her 4th comeback album and is promoting the title song ‘Mad’.

Exclusive Interview with Lee Byung Hun
Lee Byung Hun had an interview with ComicBookMovies where he talked about his role in G.I.Joe and I bring it to you...
Byung-hun Lee is already a big star in Korea, and with his classic good looks and kick-butt role in the live-action G.I. Joe movie, he's ready to become a big deal in outside of of Asia...
CBM: Tell us about your character "Stormshadow"
Byung-hun Lee: Actually, I didn't have any idea of G.I. Joe and Stormshadow because in Asia it is not a well known cartoon. They didn't show it. When I first got the script from my agent, I was not familiar, so, I had to learn about the history of G.I. Joe and especially my character. So, I learned a lot from Stephen, Lorenzo and the other actors and actresses. As you know, Stormshadow has a lot of pride. For example, he doesn't kill anybody without any reason. He's a martial arts expert.
CBM: What martial arts are you involved with. I'm assuming Tae Kwon Do?
Byung-hun Lee: Right. Tae Kwon Do is my main martial art. And there is a little bit of difference between the styles of Snake-eyes and Stormshadow. Snake-eyes (Ray Park) is based on Wu-shu--which is Chinese, and Stormshadow is based on Korean Tae-Kwon-do. So Snake-eyes is more flash and movement, and Stormshadow has simple but strong movement.
CBM: Are you mainly using weapons in your fights? It seems as though Stormshadow always has his swords out.
Byung-hun Lee: I have swords, but I usually use my kicks.
CBM: There has been a lot of criticism of the live-action movie. What would you tell the critics to convince them to see the movie?
Byung-hun Lee: This is a light-hearted movie, and its good to enjoy and have fun. In Japan, Marlon (Wayans) told audience "Better Fasten Seat Belts." I think that was a good speech for this film.
CBM: What did you like best about working with Ray Park?
Byung-hun Lee: In the movie he is the enemy, and we hate each other, but in real life we are really good friends. We had to train a lot together before the production, so we are so close. And he is REALLY good at Martial arts. His movements are so flashy and skillful.
CBM: He said in an interview that you trained 5 days for the climactic fight scene between Snake-eyes and Stormshadow. Is that right?
Byung-hun Lee: Yeah, Yeah, of course. And there are a lot of fight scenes in this movie.
CBM: How about Sienna Miller? What is the relationship between Stormshadow and The Baroness? Is there a love interest there?
Byung-hun Lee: (Laughs) Yeah, actually we talked about that a lot--as a joke. As you know, the relationship between us is... Stormshadow is the Master for her. CBM: What was it like for you to promote this in Korea? You're already well-known there, right?
Byung-hun Lee: It was really great. Sienna Miller and Channing Tatum, Stephen, Lorenzo, they all told me they'd never seen that kind of red carpet at a press conference before. There were a lot of fans and they were freaking out.
CBM: I'm assuming you're signed on for sequels?
Byung-hun Lee: Three. And I would come back to play Stormshadow if they make them.
CBM: Well, thank you for your time.
Byung-hun Lee: It was my honor. Thank you.

Joo Ji Hoon is Sentencend with 120 hours of Community Service
Joo Ji Hoon is now working hard to accept his punishment for taking drugs. He received an order from the court to provide services to the community beginning of this month in Seoul, Songpa-Gu (송파구).
Songpa-Gu remains at the eastern part of Seoul where protection, observation and services are given for the disabled and elderly.
According to the person in charge, Joo Ji Joon has to participate in the community service activities for 8 to 9 hours each day. Joo Ji Joon has to report to the protection center from 9am to 6pm daily and provided many kinds of social services.
Most of the time Joo Ji Hoon would be providing community services for the children and the disabled. On the 6th August, he participate in the bathing services activities held by the local welfare organizations by helping the disabled to bathe. In future, he would be providing community services like these for the next 3 weeks.
The person in charge continue: “Earlier this month when Joo Ji Hoon came to the protection center, he wore a hat and looks extremely sad. Recently he became more cheerful as he started to participate in the social services activities. He also revealed that he would continue to do those things to help the needy even if he has completed the order to provide community services to the center.”
Due to taking drugs together with his colleagues, he was sentenced to 6 months imprisonment, suspended for 1 year and 120 hours of community service orders.

2NE1 Will Prove Why They are Called Female Big Bang
2NE1 will take up the challenge of being the real Big Bang.
Known as the female Big Bang, 2NE1 will be performing Big Bang’s hit song from 2007 ‘Last Farewell’ on SBS Inkigayo on 9th August.
They will be performing with their own colours and style, as a girlgroup with a fresh feeling choreography set, putting up another stylish performance.
Also on Inkigayo that day, there will be a girlgroup special where So Nyeo Shi Dae, 2NE1, Brown Eyed Girls, 4Minute and KARA will be having joint stages and a special VTR ‘The Chitchat of the girls’.
Also SHINee Key and TaeMin, and 2PM Wooyoung and TaekYeon will come together with another secret member to perform So Nyeo Shi Dae’s ‘Tell Me Your Wish’. FT Island and KARA will also be performing rock versions f their song.
Brown Eyed Girls and 4Minute will be performing a cross dance performance, and it will be the last performance of So Nyeo Shi Dae’s ‘Tell Me Your Wish’ on that episode.

For Real or For Reel: Lee Dong Wook And Kim Hyun Joo are Dating?
It was revealed that Lee Dong Wook (27) and Kim Hyun Joo (31) from KBS2TV's Partner drama might also be dating each other.Both Kim Hyun Joo and Lee Dong Wook are currently acting as a pair of squabbling lawyers in a lawyer firm for KBS2TV's Partner. Although they have had their issues, they gradually grow to have an affection for each other and fall in love. So how did their scandal came about? It begun with them arriving late for filming sessions simultaneously one after another recently.
The pair had a scheduled filming session at the KBS building in Yeouido island on the morning of 2nd August and both arrived late together. On that day, both of them did not take their company's vehicle but drove their own vehicles to the filming site, piquing the curiosity of the production crew. The following day on the 3rd, they arrived late again and everyone had to wait for them before they could start filming. In the early morning hours of 1st August, both Kim Hyun Joo and Lee Dong Wook disappeared all of a sudden from the site after they were done with filming, which led to many thinking.
With regards to this, their respective management agencies denied that they were dating, "It's true that they are now very close with each other, but they are not dating The scandal probably started because they have the same schedules and are often seen together on the filming set." They also expressed that Kim Hyun Joo and Lee Dong Wook often hang out with the production crew and friends after filming for meals, etc.
A production staff said, "They weren't familiar with each other before the drama. But it's apparent to everyone that they have become much more closer in this past month on the filming set. Regardless of whether it's true or not, rumors are already spreading on the set that they are already a couple in love. Besides, isn't this quite normal when stars film a romantic love comedy together?"
